Ski Resort

Due to the hotel’s excellent location, guests can hit the slopes after breakfast in no time at all! 
The ski resort of Falkert is situated at an altitude between 1,700 – 2,300m and equipped with snowmaking facilities assuring reliable snow cover from mid December until late April! The ski area is of manageable size – crowded slopes and long queues at the lifts are virtually unknown, thus allowing families with children relaxed skiing pleasure! Skiers and boarders can choose among well-groomed runs for all levels and abilities including a variety of off-piste routes. Providing great conditions for ski touring lovers as well, the resort caters to any winter sport and it’s no wonder that Flo Köfer, a Falkert resident, has become one of Austria’s best free skiers!



Located at the foot of the hotel, the frozen lake Falkertsee is a popular meeting place for alternative sports such as ice-skating, ice-stick shooting and cross-country skiing. Our activity program for grown-ups also includes snow tubing down to the lake and skidoo safaris. 
And let’s not forget the floodlit toboggan run, which winds its way down to the lake. Toboggans are available at the hotel.
