A thin ice layer begins to form on lake Falkertsee as early as mid-November, continually growing to thick natural ice cover. Skaters enjoy the unspoilt natural setting on the circular ice rink of the frozen lake. You don’t own ice-skates or want to save space while traveling? No need to worry, there are skates available for hire in our sports shop.
