Picnic fun
Friday is family day, which means the whole kit and caboodle depart on a hiking tour to one of our mountain chalets. We either head to the Jagdhütte hut, where we are treated to a hearty Carinthian snack and are taken back to the hotel by bus afterwards, or we go on a pony trekking tour to the Zirbenhütte hut where Mr. Köfer awaits us with delicacies from the frying pan.
Another popular family outing option includes a hike to the Falkert summit concluding with a “goulash cannon” lunch by the little lake!
