Hiking at Alpine Pastures
Set amidst the charming natural landscape of the Carinthian Nockberge mountain range, Falkert provides the perfect starting point for magnificent hiking tours over the soft ridges of the Nockberge mountains. Whether you choose a leisurely short circular trail hike (1.5 hrs.) or a more demanding 4-6 hour tour with a break in a mountain hut, the region caters for all tastes.
The Heidi-Hotel’s activity program includes 3 guided hiking tours with Mr Köfer, who makes sure we begin with a comfortable hike to acclimatize, steadily increasing the degree of difficulty. One of the highlights is certainly the family hike at the weekend, starting from the hotel up to the Falkertspitz summit where we are rewarded with incredibly beautiful views over the unique landscape with crystal clear lake Falkertsee at our feet – there’s no better place to completely unwind!
