Fishing

Located 1,875 m above sea level, the crystal clear mountain lake (5ha) lies right on the hotel’s doorstep, and is an insiders tip for fly fishers and sports anglers which is not easily revealed. As a hotel guest however, you are entitled to char and trout fishing free of charge (for stays of 7 days or longer). Courses for novices and experienced fishers are organized on request.



Visitors not staying in the hotel are welcome to fish provided they have a valid annual fishing license and some knowledge of sport or fly-fishing. 
A fishing permit for lake Falkertsee is € 25.00 per person/day incl. 3 massive fish.


Scallywag fishing in the Heidi pond
Scallywag fishers and hobby anglers can try their luck in the large pond at the Heidi-Alm where rods and baits are available at the entrance cash desk.  Scallywag fishing for € 10.00 includes material and one fish, each additional fish caught costs € 5.00. 

The daily catch can then be handed over either to the chefs of the Heidi-Hotel or to one of our alpine chalets to be prepared for you or grilled in the outdoor barbecue area at the Heidi-Alm.
