Allergy-free Zone
As the recovery and health of our guests is very important to us we have focused on the topic “Allergy Alpin”. Extended holidays, if possible, at higher altitudes have very beneficial health effects and contribute to regeneration without the need for special medicine or exhausting exercises.
More and more children and adults suffer from asthma attacks and allergies and we have often experienced that the fresh and clear mountain air at Falkert works wonders and makes visitors able to take a deep breath. Allergy sufferers feel well here, forget about inhalers and medicines and gather new energy for their daily routine. Even a few days spent at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,000 meters stabilize the cardiovascular system.
The stimulating climate also promotes the formation of red blood cells, supplying the organs with oxygen. With each breath, guests at Falkert take in health and forget about hay fever, bronchitis, asthma, allergies and the dust of big cities, and benefit from improved physical fitness after returning home to lower altitudes. The results of the scientific altitude study AMAS carried out by the University Clinic in Innsbruck are no news to regular guests.
They have long known that holidays in the mountains offer the perfect conditions for almost allergy-free holidays as common allergens like pollen, dust mites, and mold are less frequent at higher altitudes. According to the slogan “Healthy air for young lungs”, many children and adults suffering from allergies have already experienced the beneficial effects of healthy mountain air!
